RSL Maleny Wins Community Service Award

RSL Maleny Sub-Branch received the "Engaging the Community Award" for its work in our community during the year 2011.

The award was presented by RSL District President Kerry Cook to Mrs Helen Gilmour-Walsh, President of the Maleny Sub Branch, at a ceremony on Saturday Evening the 18th February 2012, part of the RSL Sunshine Coast Regional District 11th Annual District Congress held at Caloundra.
 
Helen congratulated all members for their hard work for the Sub-Branch and the local community of Maleny and District.

The RSL Sunshine Coast District stretches from Caloundra to Tewantin and west to Woodford.

Members Friday Cash Jackpot Draw

At the Friday Bar & Dining nights we run a cash jackpot prize draw for all members at 5.30pm. 

To win you must be at the Maleny RSL Memorial Hall, if the winner is not present the Jackpot increases by $10 each week, with no upper limit.

We are using a new electronic draw which is displayed on the big screen.

For the current jackpot see the panel on the left.

Remember you must be there to win it!!

Volunteers Needed

From time to time Maleny RSL Sub Branch needs helpers to enable it to fulfill its committments to the ex-service community and the Maleny community at large.

If you are able to spare a couple of hours, click here,  to see when we need people.
